The night before my birthday, Emily and I devoured her "Alex Pie." It was the first time she'd made a strawberry chocolate pie and it was delicious! Ha, we couldn't wait for a picture to try the first piece. It says Alex!

A first ever 5-way skype chat with Anna, Celeste, Julia, and Emily that warmed my heart.
Pat Metheny concert in Bratislava! He's fascinating. Long story short (without any explanation whatsoever), he controls half an orchestra from his acoustic guitar and gave a 2 hour jazz concert. The ingenuity intrigued me, some songs made me want to dance, and others made me picture them as the theme song to my life...
I loved my birthday! From the pizza a pivo (and beer po slovensky) and pie with Emily the night before to the last bite of chocolate before bed, it was a special day. And of course, thank you to literally all my family and friends who made it special from so far away. *A seriously big smile*
